I’m happy to announce that myself and Slug are going to be providing the music for the launch of this event in the National Gallery tomorrow night. It’s a bit of a change of scenery from the grimey basements we usual frequent, and judging by our recent experiments into the world of ambient/avant garde/classical mixing (more on that soon) it promises to be an interesting experience for all concerned – as we’re going for a full on 6 deck mash-up ala the Shwantology sessions.
Not sure if this is open to the public – best bet is to contact the Gallery directly if you want to attend. It starts at 5:45pm and runs till 8. If you have no joy there and you really want to come down, email me and we’ll see what we can do. Short notice I know – but we only heard about this ourselves a few days ago. The exhibition itself looks fairly interesting as well. Again, email me if you want a copy of the programme.
